Royal app on Samsung galaxy

Carrier-updated S5's are on Marshmallow (6.0.1)

 

I've seen a few cases in the Play store where apps that your phone is perfectly capable of running are mistakenly listed as incompatible with that phone, so it won't let you download them. You can usually still run them if you side-load them. I'm not sure if links to download sites are frowned upon here so I'll just say google "royal IQ apk" to find what you need.

My husband thought he was the last person with a working S5! [emoji846] He's starting to have issues with other apps no longer working or being incompatible. Hopefully that's not the case with you, but it might be.

I’ve been trying to update it but doesn’t seem to work Will an at&t store do it for me or is there something I’m missing.

An AT&T Samsung Galaxy S5 user here.

 

Go to:

Settings

 

Then go to (General)

 

Then scroll down & click on (About device)

 

Then click on (Software updates)

 

Then click on (Check for updates)

 

Then click on (Ok)

Thank you all for your help. I loaded the software updates but everything updated except the android operating system. Still at 4.42. Can,t afford a new $700.00 phone. Guess I’ll just deal with it. Thanks Everyone for trying.

All may not be lost.  Symphony doesn't use the Royal IQ app.  It uses the "Royal" app.

Well I guess things have not changed since last year.  Just bought a Samsung Galaxy and the app isn't even appearing in the Play store.  Guess it still won't work with the Galaxy.  I don't have 6.0 or better
