Rare Scrapnana Posted May 23, 2018 Author #3 Share Posted May 23, 2018 I'll try to remember the earlier time. I was thinking about you today. I was at the library which is in the building next to where the webcam is when a freight train came through. Are there two webcams - northbound and southbound? Their website is confusing. They offer a two day pass for $6.99 but also says there are free memberships.:confused::confused:

Happily@Sea Posted May 23, 2018 #7 Share Posted May 23, 2018 (edited) I was thinking about you today. I was at the library which is in the building next to where the webcam is when a freight train came through. Are there two webcams - northbound and southbound? Their website is confusing. They offer a two day pass for $6.99 but also says there are free memberships.:confused::confused: There are 3 cameras - north and south and a 360 camera mounted at the station. The free membership gives you the you tube cameras All the YouTube cameras are also listed at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOIkT9bq-1N2BvrsBjhNlag Little suitcase/with double arrow [by to the full screen symbol] changes the view/camera. I have mine mostly set on north.. The [$6.99] 2-day pass lets you see all the cameras and decide if you want to sign for full membership. Ask any more questions you need to, I've been on - almost a year. Edited May 23, 2018 by Happily@Sea

Rare Scrapnana Posted May 23, 2018 Author #9 Share Posted May 23, 2018 Looks like Noordam is just about at the Gastineau Channel. I wonder how bad the fog is there although I did hear somebody say they could see a mile and a half.
Rare Scrapnana Posted May 23, 2018 Author #10 Share Posted May 23, 2018 Legend was supposed to be at the ACT dock. Why is she anchored? Beautiful shot right now. The fog isn't as bad as it looked in the close-up although I do think I hear fog horns.

Rare Scrapnana Posted May 23, 2018 Author #15 Share Posted May 23, 2018 Schedule also had Emerald Princess at the ACT dock. Roy My mistake. Emerald should be at the AS dock blocking our view.
Rare rafinmd Posted May 23, 2018 #16 Share Posted May 23, 2018 That is strange. Does the ACT dock float like the others. If not, such a small ship might have had gangway problems. Roy
Rare rafinmd Posted May 23, 2018 #17 Share Posted May 23, 2018 The camera just doesn't seem to do justice to the size difference between the Legend and the Noordam. Roy
Happily@Sea Posted May 23, 2018 #18 Share Posted May 23, 2018 My Chrome went out just as I was trying to check Noordam's location, just got it working again and she is already in the harbor.

Happily@Sea Posted May 23, 2018 #20 Share Posted May 23, 2018 The camera just doesn't seem to do justice to the size difference between the Legend and the Noordam. Roy That is a real difference in size between the two - is that not real?
Rare rafinmd Posted May 23, 2018 #21 Share Posted May 23, 2018 When I first posted the Noordam was near the harbor entrance and they appeared to be almost the same size. Roy
Rare rafinmd Posted May 23, 2018 #22 Share Posted May 23, 2018 Still old logo. I wonder when the next drydock is. I had never understood the attachment to the old logo but a couple of weeks ago I looked at the coffee mug I bought on the SS Rotterdam and that was the logo so it lasted a LONG time. Rare Scrapnana Posted May 23, 2018 Author #25 Share Posted May 23, 2018 I never understood the need for the new one. They are too similar to be worth the money for changing everything, IMHO.
