It has been a few years since we were on Oasis but at Sorrentos you could order a deep dish pizza with what you wanted on it. Can you do this on Allure?

No, it's only the same crust(thin) pizza that is served in the Windjammer buffet. It was very disappointing to us too that you actually think you can something special or different there.

The past three cruises that we have done... Oasis, Allure, Freedom... there was no pizza in the Windjammer. But, yes, originally I thought there would be something different about Sorrento's but it is really just a name put on a venue that serves the same pizza available any other place on the ship that also offers pizza.

The last time we were on Harmony they did, however the times previous on Allure it was not available. It had been prior to that.

I believe they do but the typically available pizza is what I available anywhere else on the ship. They also don't go out of their way to let people know that they can order a personal pizza. And when the place is busy I would not feel comfortable asking the staff to do that for me. It seems to me like the place is often understaffed.

Makes sense. I feel that way (understaffed) about the dining room and stateroom attendant staff too.

I'll send her a head count. Not that it matters as dinner at her house usually involves enough food for a week.

Yep. When I first started cruising Royal Main Dining had one waiter for a 8/10 person table with one asst waiter for two of those large tables or one waiter for two 6 passenger tables and one asst for four those tables. This back when was 5 course meal taking almost 2 hrs to eat. Early Dining was 6pm, late 830pm... Now they push meals though, quik!

Not on Oasis in February. Only those that they are making that day (cheese, pepperoni, and that day's special. And pieces of a cut up hot sandwich'
