Aetmps Posted August 4, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 4, 2018 (edited) Went on our first cruise last weekend and fell in love with the pineapple drink we received at cococay. But cannot locate a recipe for it and I would love to try to make it at home. Any help would be greatly appreciated! This did not have coconut in it it was made with rum Edited August 4, 2018 by Aetmps Left out details

Hi Aetmps :) I wonder if you're referring to a Coco Loco drink served in a pineapple while you were at Coco Cay Bahamas. Popular drink at Coco Cay. If so, I'll drop that recipe below. Sorry in advance if this is not what you're looking for. 1 oz. Rum 1 oz. Cream of coconut 1 oz. Orange juice 1 oz. Pineapple juice 1 oz. Papaya juice 1 oz. Strawberry banana juice 1 oz. Grenadine Ice Put it all in a blender & mix Let me know if this was the drink, Have a terrific day! :) Edited August 4, 2018 by PortSideCruzan
BND Posted August 4, 2018 #5 Share Posted August 4, 2018 Also known as a labadoozie on Labadee.
Rare island lady Posted August 4, 2018 #6 Share Posted August 4, 2018 The whole mixture sans alcohol is in a large cooler. It's a fruit ice slushy. Bartenders scoop that out into the glass/plastic cup and then the dark rum is added on top.

Rare island lady Posted August 5, 2018 #11 Share Posted August 5, 2018 Can anyone tell me if this is available in a regular cup and not a pineapple or the big sippers I’ve seen in photos? I finally got tired of those plastic covered "sippy cups" they kept putting the Coco locos and Labadoozies in. We were being charged extra for them, and we simply threw them away. Found out later on that we can just ask for the drink in a regular plastic cup. ;)
