We let it slip up on us this year and sent it in yesterday for cruise in less than 2 weeks. It was applied by this am when I checked. That's fast service!!

 

I faxed my letter and proof of ownership last Tuesday, which is 6 days ago., my fax machine said the fax was accepted.  

How did you see that yours was applied?  Thank you.

As stated I use email....I do not send a file....I take a picture of my paperwork and include it in the body of the email. Nothing for them to open.

I snail mailed mine to Carnival. After 3 weeks with no reply or post on my account, I called and asked what was up. 4 days later I got an email saying my OBC had been approved and applied. I also did the same for my upcoming HAL cruise, mailed it, the same day, and have not heard anything (5 weeks since mailing).

The credit showed up on my cruise documents on the guest information and payment section. If you can't find it, call HAL.

You should wait, one of the requirements is that you hold the stock within 6 months of your departure date. I generally wait for final payment and then deal with getting the OBC applied.

I just call my PCC and ask her to check on it. If you don't have a PCC, just call the regular reservation number 1 (877) 932-4259 . I think anyone can look and see if it has been applied and if not, will be able to refer you on to the correct folks.

Update:  I again faxed my letter, and included my email address.  I received an email just now saying we have the $100.00 OBC!  Woohoo
