Pictures taken between Monday, November 12 and Sunday, November 18.

Rules: See above

That's it. This isn't a contest.

All photos taken this week are welcome (not just cruising).

Prizes will not be awarded. Discovering the joy of photography is the prize.

The idea is to get folks out using their cameras for more than vacations and toddler birthdays.

Post one. Post many. Up to you.

Have fun with your camera and share your fun with others!

Orlando Balloon Glow
In addition to hot air balloon rides, the event featured some of Orlando's best food trucks, a retail village and a Kids Zone with actiities for the children.  There was also the opportunity to take tethered balloon rides for $20 per person.

The kitchen remodel progresses. Time for random photo opportunities is a bit rare with cabinetry and considerable amounts of sawdust being the bulk of my creative output for another month or so. This week marked the mounting of the first three cases along with a fair amount of true-to-code wiring demanded by the new microwave, under-cabinet lighting and built-in lift for the Kitchen Aid mixer. The cabinet lights are low-voltage LEDs and the 18 gauge wire shown here along with some quality connectors were used to make the installation surprisingly professional-looking. All that patience and attention to detail learned behind the camera seems to has other practical applications.

Wetlands activity is really picking up - it's back to the winter BIF-palooza with the nesting birds all flying about bringing nesting materials, looking for mates, and flying in to roost for the night.
