Rare rafinmd Posted November 21, 2018 #81 Share Posted November 21, 2018 The 2 ships remaining in PE were my finalists for fall 2020. I know the Koningsdam will be in Alaska in 2020 and can't go through the Panama Canal. On the way to Alaska it goes around the horn out of season and I assume will do the same after the Alaska Season. In the end I was won out by a Serenity transatlantic from Barcelona to Quebec including stops in Newfoundland. I'm still hoping to follow up with a HAL ship from Montreal or Quebec to Boston or New York. Roy

Apparently the rules for the new locks were finalized after K-dam was built and the canal won't allow lifeboats extending over the side of the ship. It's a 45-day cruise in April. I'd book that but am still on the QM2 world cruise. Roy
