Equinox Boarding Delay Due to Previous Charter

The Equinox is delayed in boarding today. Right now they are saying 11:20 . 

We were told previous cruise, a music charter, trashed the public areas and there were still 33 people onboard as of 11 am. 

I feel so bad for the staff and all the extra work and complaints they’ll have to deal with.

We were on the 3 day cruise prior to the charter and some of the staff was concerned there would be problems. We were told that why it wasn't decorated yet for the holidays because of the possibility of things getting ruined.

I saw on a twitter feed that the boat returned to port earlier than expected.party on.

It appeared to have a lot of participants for an only four-day Cruise.

We were able to board around 11:45. Staterooms were ready around 2:15. Christmas decorations are going up now, the tree in the library was put up last night. 

The Friendship music chartered voyage did return to Miami for a medical emergency after the first night, then sailed back out. There was noticeable damage still being fixed  when we boarded, like tiles being repaired on the design on the floor. A staff member told me that the 33 people on board late, which delayed our boarding, were mostly held up because they couldn’t pay their bill.

Hopefully Celebrity doesn’t rebook them next year! 

The staff onboard is as wonderful as ever! No aftereffects since boarding day.

Does that mean there were 33 new dishwashing apprentices in the galley?  I was thinking they were probably stoned in their cabins...EM
