First night Prime Rib

What happened to prime rib as a ship wide special on the first night of the cruise. For a while, you could count on it as a menu item and we used to go to O'sheehans to eat, it was also offered in both mdrs.

I do think I remember prime rib as a menu option on one the other evenings but just wondered if anyone know why this was stopped.

Prime Rib was offered in O’Shehan’s on 1st night on our last couple of cruises in 2018.

Hmm, not on our New England cruise in September, maybe it was just an aberration...

We were on the Gem in September and no prime rib night, but were on the Getaway in August and they had it then.

or maybe it was some other night. I believe it was not the first night on the Dawn this past spring. I know in the MDR it was the last night and in O'Sheehan's somewhere in the middle.

They had prime rib in dining rooms and O'Sheehan's on the first night and one other night.  That was on the 11/25 Breakaway.

They did a seafood basket one night. Just got off a 10 day on the Dawn and prime rib was the last night.

2017 on GEM out of NY (had prime rib twice) 12 day cruise

2018 on Escape out of NY (had prime rib at least twice) 14 day cruise

Some ships offer nightly specials in OSheehans....prime rib, seafood basket, BBQ ribs, but some ships do not. I was on Getaway in September 2018 and Epic January 2019 and there were no dinner specials offered in OSheehans on any evening. As mentioned, you could get prime rib in the buffet or in the main dining room on the first and last evening of the cruise

Just off the 14 day Sun.  They had prime ribs once each week but not on the first night.
