Why would anyone work or live near a busy cruise port and complain about toots. I think the yachts with turbo motors are much louder and they hurt my ears. I couldn't tell if it was something picked up by the Microphone or a radio transmission. No roughing up the neighbors in case it was one of them. The brass bell people, the air horn people and the guy* with the railroad/18-wheeler truck horn are in play. * - I assume it's a guy. That's probably insensitive of me because lots of women** have railroad horns on their balconies here in God's Waiting Room. ** - Or non-gendered people who identify as such. Me thinks you've got them pretty much all covered

When a man reaches a certain age, he feels the "call of nature" at odd hours.

travelnap Posted January 12, 2019 #138 Share Posted January 12, 2019 An extra toot from Indy, which is unusual, usually the RCI ships are 3 toots and done.
travelnap Posted January 12, 2019 #139 Share Posted January 12, 2019 Well that's it for me tonight. Thanks Jacqui and the rest of the sail away addicts. Have a good night and hopefully see you tomorrow.

Roy Oostie was really good as usual, but the Royal Princess was one and done. We did get an extra toot from both Indy of the Seas and Caribbean Princess, but nothing to compare with the Oosterdam. Hope you are enjoying your cruise Roy. I am following both your and Kathi's threads on the HAL forum.
