Rare h20skibum Posted January 14, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 14, 2019 When we have placed users on our ignore list, none of their posts will show up in a thread. However, if someone quotes their post, that text shows up in their post. Is there a setting to prevent those quotes of ignored users from showing up in these cases? Rare h20skibum Posted January 14, 2019 Author #3 Share Posted January 14, 2019 Maybe that is something they should work on.
Charles4515 Posted January 14, 2019 #4 Share Posted January 14, 2019 Maybe that is something they should work on. That would take a lot of AI for little payback. If it is even possible. Unlikely that any effort would ever be expended to do that. Probably very few even use the ignore itself. I don’t recall ever using it myself. CC Help Jenn Posted January 14, 2019 #5 Share Posted January 14, 2019 That is something that even happened on our previous software. At this time you will still see an ignored member's post IF someone else quotes that member
EatonDoolittle Posted January 15, 2019 #6 Share Posted January 15, 2019 As mentioned, it's been this way all along. I don't mind. Frankly, it shows me that the people I have blocked are still consistently and predictably wrong, negative, unpleasant, sarcastic, know it all, trouble stirrers, annoying, just plain mean, or whatever the reason was that I blocked each of them in the first place. We all have moments, but if you know the response of a certain poster before you even read it, it's time for them to go on the ignore list, IMO.
