Accessing Rates without the Non-Refundable Deposit?

I have a cruise I want to book, but don't want the non-refundable deposit, as sometimes I need change plans closer to dates.

I can pull up the rate for this on a cruise booking site, but not direct on RCCL website. 

Is there a way to access them on the website?

Yes, Royal has made this very difficult to find, on purpose.

 

You have to enter all the guest info and then go to the next page where there will be a checkmark to choose refundable deposit.

You have to go through the entire booking process and enter in passenger information and then you will get the option to see the refundable rate.

I would guess that is what Royal wants you to believe.

It cost me $115 for a 7 day cruise for 2 people to add on non-refundable.

Interesting. I know this varies quite a bit, but that seems reasonable. I miss the days when you could see the difference early in the process. Having to enter the passenger info to see the premium you'll pay for a refundable deposit is silly.

Stop wasting time on the RC site.

 

Go to almost any cruise travel website.

 

You can easily look up refundable fares with no issues and without filling in all the info.
