Jewel smoking areas

Anyone recently on Jewel know where the smoking areas are located?  I think the lower outer deck is on 5 and maybe the pool bar on deck 11.  Some cruise lines don't have chairs on the lower deck, like NCL & MSC.  Thanks so much!

One side of the outside of decks 5, 11, and 12.  Also inside in the smoking lounge where they sometimes have gambling too.

I can see Deck 5 on the promenade deck outside and Deck 11 on the pool deck, but on the port or starboard side?

 

Where would they have it on Deck 12 -- I don't think the Sky Bar?  That doesn't make much sense.

 

On Brilliance, the had it in the casino.  There was a guy sitting at the entrance to the casino on a stool at a slot, reading a book and smoking his cigarettes, not playing any slots.  The smoke drafted all the way over to Vintages.   I complained to the Casino Manager, but he didn't seem to give a crap.  

 

At least on Anthem they separated sections of the casino as smoking.  Not near public areas.

Smoking was allowed on Deck 12. I believe starboard.  They weren't sitting at the sky bar but at the table and near it. I remember this as I walk the track early every morning and had to walk past the smokers.

Nope, people smoke in Casino, nothing can do about it. Problem is smoke drifts out and up in Centrum. Common problem this Class of ship. Be aware on days ship is refueling while in Port's there is no outdoor smoking on any deck, only in Casino

Looking at Jewel deck plans, do they not have the Park Cafe up in the solarium like Brilliance?

Correct. Just the Solarium Bar.

There is a food venue in the Solarium on Jewel, however it does not have all the Park Cafe offerings.  No bagels at breakfast, no custom salads at lunch.  It's more like a Cafe Promenade, except it's not open 24 hours.

Is the entire starboard side for smokers on 5 and 11? I'm so used to Anthem where there was the contained bus stop area, and just the one side of the outdoor pool. Plus two additional outside areas on 12 and 13? Half the passengers, twice+ the smoking accommodations? Does this ship just draw more smokers?

Smoking is allowed on the entire sides of decks 5 ,11, and 12 on Jewel.

Thanks for the info. That actually makes me feel better about being in an inside cabin. I would be very unhappy to be in a starboard balcony on 6. 

I probably should have done more research on this ship before booking. This is a vastly different policy from what I'm used to on Anthem.

Do any of you know if the Jewel has a Cigar Lounge like the other Jewel Class ships, located next to Magnums?
