How do you use OBC in the casino

On our upcoming cruise we have quite a bit of OBC.  We already have prepaid grats, beverage package and a number of tours.  I was looking to invest/waste some of the OBC in the casino but aren't sure how to do this.  Any good suggestions please.

By way of "teaching a man to Fish", I will add here that there are two types of On Board Credit (OBC); Refundable and Non-Refundable.

The non refundable type usually represents promotional dollars; Refundable comes about when currency has changed hands.

Only Refundable may be used in the Casino.  😄

We’re on Riviera now and on the bottom of the cards where they list the OBC, they all said, “Not for use in the casino”.  These OBC’’s were from Oceania and from Oceania’s club.

Then it was all promotional money, i.e no actual money changed hands.  😇

The casino workers told us that if you use OBC in the casino, there is a 3% fee that they add to what you use.

What part of the 3% service fee means they will charge your non refundable OBC and not your credit card?

True, any time that one draws cash in the Casino, that fee applies.

One can always cash in their refundable OBC at any point any use it in the casino as cash.

On other cruise lines that I've sailed on, it's so easy to use OBC in the casino...for slots, you just insert your cruise card into the machine and play! No fees.
