I see that the adult comedy show is at 8:30 so I decide to start heading that way and see if I can get an alchemy drink on the way. Approaching the alchemy I see two beautiful seats open at the end. I get about 5 feet away and a couple moves in and sits down. So I just head to the comedy club.

 

Even with this smaller club i’m not buying the crowd that says you have to line up 45 minutes before a comedy show to get a seat. We’re 15 mins out and there are still some seats. It’ll be full but you don’t have to get here that early. There were people lined up to get in here after that last show...but that’s on them. I left for 30 mins and when I got in here there was plenty of seating available. I actually can see the mic this time

After I comedy I start heading to the achemy. As I’m going up the steps from deck 4 to deck 5 I’m behind a couple...and I’m having flashbacks from an hour ago. At the midway point they go left, I go right. I beat them to the top and them off  as I race to the  alchemy. As I turn the corner I see the same two seats open. And...

Uhhh...you know what. I think I’m the only straight person at this bar (not that there’s anything wrong with that)...let me check the fun times.

So I head to the comedy club for the last comedy show of the night. 5 mins till showtime  and there still is a lot of seating available. I guess there are people at the late amor cubano  show but I’m surprised it’s this easy to get a seat in here now.

 Have you been to any of the other shows besides the comedy? If so how were they? Or have you heard from anybody on the ship who has.  My wife are right behind you Leaving on March 3. We’re on the spa deck so I would love to see some pictures of the spa if you get a chance and also the casino since we are going on a casino ultra cruise.  And we can’t wait. Been wanting to go on the Vista for a long time.

That was interesting. This drunk woman sat front row center and wanted to be the center of attention. Even got on stage (uninvited) a couple of times. And you know what. This is the third third straight year I’ve cruised out of Galveston right around this time...and you start to see some of the same people. I think she’s done this before...on Freedom two years ago. She got roasted big time tonight.

So after comedy I headed to the alchemy and got the same seat back.

If you get a chance, can you see what channels the sports bar has now?  We were on Sunshine last week and they didn’t have FS1, which surprised me.

Last night I set my phone not to change time and Set my first alarm for 6:30. I wake up 5:30...but could sleep another hour. But I can’t get back to sleep. And the more I lay here the more hungry I get. So I think for the first time on a port day I can eat breakfast in the mdr. I check the schedule. It doesn’t open until 7? What? My excursion is 7:45. I can’t do that. Lido breakfast doesn’t even open till 6:30. And I don’t feel right taking a shower now. With all the other cabins silent. This is all just wasted time I guess. The coffee shop doesn’t even open until 6:30.

 

i wonder if we’re running late...I don’t see land

Possibly. But if my child was sick in the cabin, I wouldn’t leave it. Sorry, but that’s just my opinion. Maybe I’m just an old school granny that thinks your children’s needs come before your own.
