Finding him however is part of the fun. I never did get to see him last week. I looked and looked. Friends finally saw him and got pictures on the last day.

Note to self...wear long sleeves when attempting this monster of a slide You have to hold the strap palms up like they have in the instructions. It doesn't feel natural but if you do you really cant stick out your elbows.
SummerIsAStateOfMind Posted March 15, 2019 Author #104 Share Posted March 15, 2019 Formal dining - Lobster tonight! The MDR was super crowded but the staff worked it is like a well oiled machine & we got in and out in time for the show. I love that all the restaurants and MDR are sensitive to allergies. SummerIsAStateOfMind Posted March 16, 2019 Author #114 Share Posted March 16, 2019 Dinner tonight in the MDR was great! The best I’ve had there so far. Greek Salad, Tiger shrimp & my fav Creme Brûlée. Between you & me, I went all out & ordered 2 main courses, followed by viewing & buying a picture package. SummerIsAStateOfMind Posted March 16, 2019 Author #115 Share Posted March 16, 2019 Missed the family comedy show due to frantic packing, where did the day go? I did however catch the late viewing of Hiro. Another spectacular show “Bravo”
SummerIsAStateOfMind Posted March 16, 2019 Author #116 Share Posted March 16, 2019 Day 7 wrap up as I sit in the Promenade by Copper & Kettle listening to music, might head up to Dazzles next. Sad news of the trip: I watched 3 people stand on the pier helpless as the ship pulled away. 2 got left behind in Roatan too. 😮

It hurt so bad for at least a couple of weeks. DH had to help me place a dressing on my arm every morning while I dressed for work. I have a daily reminder of my time on the Abyss. I did hold my arms as instructed however, my right arm came loose & rubbed against the metal. Don't get me wrong it's a fun ride! I will be packing a long sleeved tee for my ride this year on Symphony! I want to say...Thanks for bringing us along with you & your family on your vacation! SummerIsAStateOfMind Posted March 16, 2019 Author #121 Share Posted March 16, 2019 Departure day blues. Everyone’s walking around in a daze, not enough coffee to make up for the final night 😞. Disembarking with the Key was great. We could eat anywhere, leave anytime & although our personal escort was MIA, we found the special line by Sorrentos (most crew didn’t seem to know where it was) The luggage 🧳 for Key members was by the Suite & Pinnacle area. I’ll be doing a separate review for the Key when I’m fully awake.
SummerIsAStateOfMind Posted March 16, 2019 Author #122 Share Posted March 16, 2019 Settling in for the long wait at Miami airport. Multiple flights cancelled due to grounded planes. Those passengers are now on standby and it’s affecting other flights with delays.

I held the straps as instructed, but somehow tipped over sideways and went down part of the slide with my forehead rubbing the side. It could have been worse; I have just two spots about the size of a dime each where the skin was rubbed off my forehead. And I will be trying it again next time.
