We are on the Breakaway in 2 weeks.  Anyone just off want to give us any more advise on the ship.  Where to best hang out on the decks,  how was the food and staff.  We hear good and bad on this site so would like to hear anything from someone who just recently just got off the ship.

Pour House is super fun. Get there early for a good seat. Howl at the Moon and Comedians are great. Entertainment is very good on this ship. (Did not attend Rock of Ages....was tired that night)

Food is subjective: Le Bistro was great. Ocean Blue - we were not sure.....side dishes and appetizers just OK. But the main course fish options were all awesome. Skip La Cucina. Teppanyaki is fun and a lot of good food. (Standard Japanese steakhouse)

Breakaway is approximately 10 years old and does NOT show much wear. We had a great time.

We were on the Breakaway a couple of months ago and will be back on her in May.  She was refurbished last year.   If you haven't been on a ship on this class I think you will enjoy the Waterfront area.  During the day a nice place to hang out and enjoy the ocean breeze.   They often have the outdoor bars open to enjoy too!   At night you can get a waterfront table if you wish while enjoying one of the specialty restaurants on that deck.

We especially enjoyed the sea days on Breakaway when they have different themed complimentary lunch buffets in Moderno.  Nice lunch and different from the regular buffet. The other ships of this class do not do that.   On those sea days they also open the walk-up window to Ocean Blue on the Waterfront.  You can get a nice Lobster roll for about $10.  We took those lobster rolls into Moderno to enjoy with that nice salad & themed buffet 🙂

We have always found the food to be pretty good on the Breakaway.  Check your Daily newspaper to see what is open when.  There are usually complimentary smaller breakfast buffets set up in Moderno and Margaritaville if you don't want to go to the larger buffet.  O'Sheehan's serves a good breakfast too.

It is actually quite a bit younger than that. Launched April 2013, so not quite 6 years old.

I was sitting here thinking about the same: 10 years, well if it is I must have lost a year or so somewhere. Thanks for clarifying that.
