Can I cancel a drinks package?

I’m unsure whether to get the Classic drinks package. It’s currently on sale on my cruise planner so I’m tempted. Can I buy it now, then get it refunded if I change my mind before we sail?

You can in the US not sure about in the UK.  Maybe calling Celebrity would be the best option,

I cancelled  Classic first day on board and got 300 OBC.

Unless they have a big discount I’ve decided not to bother. We’re not big drinkers so I can’t see us spending £800 in 9 days even if Celebrity prices are astronomical!

Past Summit cruise my DW cancels his cruise 48 hours before boarding (I travel alone). First time my TA tell me that the drink pack will not be reimbursable because the dead line to cancel it is 72 hours before boarding. When I board the Summit I go to guest relations and ask to see the terms and conditions, they say I don't know I will write a email to Miami asking for that, same day (Sunday) about 9PM, I receive a email from Miami telling me that everything in the cruise planer will be refunded to my CC, one day before disembarking the money was in my CC.  I recommend read your the terms and conditions.

I only do a drink package if its included as a perk. Otherwise I don't drink as much.
