Cruising Ducks

If anybody with children (or not) is interested, our two boys have seen this and can't wait to hide and find some ducks.  Hopefully Celebrity will get involved as most posts seem to relate to other cruise lines!

Maybe they are there.. just haven't spotted one.

How do you know there are 50?

the gentleman who hid this one has hidden another 50 so far this week. There is a celebrity cruising ducks group elsewhere.

What are you supposed to do when you see one?

each duck will have a passport with the tag line "Keep or hide, you decide!" usually followed by an address on a  social media where you can post a photo of your find

I posted on the Hiding Ducks thread a couple of times, but walked after seeing the number of posters who seem to have a terminal lack of whimsy or sense of humor. I'll  watch this thread with interest. If anyone is making popcorn,  I like mine with extra butter.

That is like the urban legend of someone hiding $100 bills in the Bible left in hotels to reward people that read it.

I will bring a few ducks on the Equinox in November. There is a family with a toddler on our roll call and I will give them some hints so their little one can find a duck.

I found one on a M-Class ship in our CS a couple years ago.     It was sitting on top of one of the Picture Frames.

Wasn't TopekaDuckie active in this whimsey?  I seem to recall she was on one of my Princess cruises, and she had a duck on her cabin doorknob and had hidden ducks around the ship.

Never seen one on Celebrity. I'm not sure, during Covid, that it's a good idea either.  Under other circumstances, I would think it';s really fun and participate.

I wish I knew about this before now! I would've brought some. That sounds like fun, and I'll be sure to bring some in the future. 

 

By the way, the duck in Summit's Luminae is quite tasty.
