daljcl Posted June 16, 2019 #1 Share Posted June 16, 2019 Cruising in August and we get in at 3:30. Not sure what we can do as excursions are limited and many of the ones offered are walking tours which is not good for some people in my group. Hoping maybe the casino opens up at 9 pm???? Indulge in delicious Coquito (gelato, but much better), or a public beach by El Dorado by taxi! As far as the casino question, I am not sure if I can answer that. The universal rule is the casino is closed in port except in ports that allow gambling. Cheers! Casinos & shops remain closed while in Port. they can not operate until in International waters.. this is standard rule for every cruise line in every port. its the Law. most will be open after about an hour of leaving ports. Rare shof515 Posted June 20, 2019 #5 Share Posted June 20, 2019 I just got off the sunrise, our cruise went to San Juan. The casino was open in the morning, closed in the afternoon. Then reopen after sail away around 11:30pm.

For Bermuda, the ships casino is only open at night, usually from 9pm to like 4am or so.it is never open during the day.

The coquito I bought on our last visit to San Juan was definitely alcoholic. I'll have to look for the one you are talking about if we make it back to PR again.🙂
