Leaving Ship on B2B in Fort Lauderdale

We will be in Spain for a week, a TA cruise for 13 days and continuing on a Caribbean cruise.  We thought we might make a quick run to the Publix near the port to grab some things while in Fort Lauderdale.  Is there an easy process for someone to get back on the ship without going through all the different lines.  Has anyone done this?

You must go through security and have your belongings passed through the scanner, but otherwise you will be given a transit pass which allows you immediate access back to the ship and you can skip the lines inside the terminal. There may be lines of people waiting for the scanner and there’s not much you can do about that.

Only qualification to the above is that once you leave the ship you won't be able to board again until boarding for everyone has started.  If I were doing this I would wait until they escort you through immigration.  I think you can leave immediately from there without continuing back on the ship with the rest of the group.  The ship should be boarding when you return.  They have a meeting for B2B passengers so it would probably be best to go get all the info and make the decision best for you.

I'm no help with your questions, but that sounds like an amazing trip...any room in your suitcases for  stowaways? Bon Voyage, this fall I presume
