Parking garage st Port Liberty

Recommended Posts

For those who have used the parking garage at Port Liberty; can you drop off your passengers close to the boarding area of the Adventure of the Seas so they do not have to walk from the garage to the ship.

Yes,

you must pass the drop-off area to get to the garage (or overflow lot).    Drop your passengers and luggage and then go park.   BTW, the garage is only about 150 feet from the drop-off area.

Thanks we have about 12 people in two cars; also can an outside car that has passengers that is not going on the cruise allowed to drop off cruise passengers also

Be aware that the garage is sometimes full now with more than one ship there now. Last week they were only allowing cars with handicapped tags into the garage.

What was the overflow process, or were you on your own? Heading there tomorrow.

Good question, as I did not think there was any alternate parking int he vicinity.

They have outside parking lots and they give very good directions as to where to go to park.

Are these outside parking lots run by the cruise terminal?  Not 3rd party lots, right?

Run by Royal they are the original parking areas that were there before the garage was built.

OK, thanks.  I recall that folks on the East Coast Departures forum are always warning about using 3rd party lots for Cape Liberty.

That advice about using 3rd party off site lots is still the advice we are giving on the East Coast Board.  The whole Cape Liberty area on the 2 mile long peninsula is the responsibility of the Port Authority of NY & NJ and is secured.  That’s why we recommend parking at the terminal.

Just to reassure folks, there is actually parking beyond the original outdoor lot by the parking garage.  They can park cars on the other side of the original terminal, which is a bit of a hike (shuttle buses might be used), but it’s still secured parking.  The web site says they guarantee parking.

Cape Liberty Web Site

Parking

A safe and secure parking facility is conveniently located adjacent to the cruise terminal. Parking fees are $22 per day including all taxes.Cash and major credit cards are accepted.

No reservations are necessary and parking is guaranteed.

Oversized vehicles, such as campers and RV’s, that occupy more than one space, will be charged double the normal rate.

The height restriction of the garage is 7’ 4”. There is an open lot adjacent to the parking garage to accommodate vehicles with height restrictions.

Cape Liberty Cruise Port, LLC is not affiliated with any off-site parking facilities.
