That thread aside (behavior of the driver, not Victor, nor other drivers for Victor), Victor is a very legitimate businessman.  DW and I have done tours with him in the past, as have hundreds of ther cruisers, none experiencing the issues that unfortunately andymattmom had.

 Read other threads here, read reviews of Trip Advisor and on Victor's website (a bit biased perhaps).

We've used them twice and it's been fabulous both times.  I would recommend them and use them again!

If That thread makes you nervous, try Rony's  Tours or Cleve's. 

Both can arrange custom island tours.

We've been using Rony for years - Faubulous tours every time!  He can take you where you'd like to go at your pace.

We have used Victor Bodden in the past - no issues, great guide

Have used Victor many times in past 10 years. The incident in the WARNING post deck isn't the norm for him and  arm sure the driver wasn't happy with the repercussions of  his actions. There are several reliable tour operators on Roatan that I would not hesitate to use and Victor is one of them.
