Manhattan Cruise Terminal Car Service Recommendation

We’ll be disembarking in New York City on a Sunday morning in a few weeks along with thousands of other passengers from The Escape. Decided it would be better to book a car service in advance instead of waiting on a long line for a taxi or trying to get an Uber..Can anyone recommend a reliable car service?

Have you checked the East Coast Departures section?? They have an entire forum where they discuss everything about the Port of New York...TONS of information.

For a car service, try dial 7 or Carmel Limo. You could google them for more info.

We've done car service many times but uber actually better.  You don't know how long it will get from ship to sidewalk.

I always use Dial 7. Very easy to book, on time and not expensive.

Never had a problem with getting an Uber from the Terminal. You can book them in advance now too.

I use Carmel. If you search their site, they sometimes have coupons for 3 dollars off any trip, 5 dollars off to any airport

Very easy to-- usually only a few minute wait. I used to be a big Carmel guy since thats who my company had a relationship with but its always a drill finding the driver (especially when things are busy). Uber (or Lyft) are much more efficient as you can see where the driver is located on the app and are less expensive (at least UberX).
