Typically a poster is banned for misuse.   Your missing poster may be busy elsewhere.

Not sure exactly who you mean but if I'm guessing right they've posted about 10 times in the last hour on another section here. But otherwise hadn't posted since Tue. Sometimes people go places.

I keep sayin, ignore user is your friend!  Although, when someone quotes a person that you have ignored,  you will still see that post.  I try to give everyone a chance, in case there are extenuating circumstances,  but sometimes, it just goes beyond reasonable.
