golffore2001 Posted August 15, 2019 #1 Share Posted August 15, 2019 On celebrity Solstice 2/7 disembark. Can I make an 11:20 Delta flight or is that cutting it too close?
Docker123 Posted August 15, 2019 #2 Share Posted August 15, 2019 7 February? Date systems differ. Friday morning. Not ideal.
Aus Traveller Posted August 16, 2019 #3 Share Posted August 16, 2019 Presumably the Delta flight is an international one. I suggest you have little chance of making a flight that early. You would have a good chance of making it to a domestic flight at that time because check-in is closer to the flight time then an international flight. NSWP Posted August 16, 2019 #4 Share Posted August 16, 2019 A very tight window. You would need to be off ship @ 7am, processed, travel to Sydney Airport in heavy traffic, always heavy traffic to and from airport and be there by 9am at the very latest. I would not attempt it, but some might. Good luck.
Rare Tapi Posted August 16, 2019 #5 Share Posted August 16, 2019 Delta is notorious for posting an early departure time on international flights. They did it to us returning home from Rome last November. To make things tighter, our ship arrived an hour late. We were already stressed about the late ship arrival but we were truly sweating bullets when we checked the flight status enroute to the airport and we learned that the flight was departing early. We made it, but it was not the way that I wanted to end my vacation. On Delta’s defense, they post the early time to maintain the integrity of their schedules and to minimize the possibility of delays. We arrived back in Atlanta almost an hour early. The_Big_M Posted August 16, 2019 #6 Share Posted August 16, 2019 It's doable if everything works to plan and you don't waste any time. But as you have no contingency, cutting it too fine imo.
