Uploading photo for check in

How much time is saved at embarkation if I upload a picture during online check-in?  We will be leaving from San Juan and the ship is Azamara Journey if that makes a difference in the answer.

Every time we have done it, they retook it anyways when we went onto the ship and through their security.   Can't save more than 15 seconds.

Saved a bit of time in Lisbon as their cameras weren’t fully working

Same thing happened to us in July.

I don't bother. Never had an issue.

At embarkation in Tokyo they used my uploaded photo but retook DHs. It took only a couple seconds.

In Rio they were re-taken at the port and again on board because the ones taken in the port cut part of the faces off!

In Oslo they were re-taken on board.

Won't be bothering again.

They used mine when we sailed on Celebrity, but DH hadn't uploaded one and they were having trouble with the cameras so it saved me time. 

 

But I'll be honest, I uploaded mine just so I could have a picture that I knew looked decent  😀
