Cancelled cruise

Sad news!   We were supposed to leave for our cruise on the Rhine, this Friday for a Oct. 5 cruise.  Unfortunately my husband had a heart attack a few weeks ago and we cannot go.  We had all our excursions booked and were so looking forward to it.  Saturday will be a sad day, but thankfully he is doing fine.  Thank you all for your help and tips.  Pat

How awful, Pat.  I'm sorry to hear this and hope your husband makes a speedy recovery.  Thank God it didn't happen on your cruise.

The important thing is that your husband is going to be fine. Europe will be there when you are both ready!

I’m so sorry, I can imagine how disappointed both of you are now.  Good to hear that your DH is doing well. No time like the present to start planning another cruise!

So sad about the cruise cancellation but very good news that DH is doing fine. Health is the most important thing, Old Father Rhine will just keep on rolling alone and be waiting for you on your cruise.

Life is precious. You can always rebook your cruise;  you can't replace your husband. Prayers for a good recovery and both you and your husbands health.  I know it's upsetting that you have a glitch; but look at it this way.  You still have your traveling companion for your next cruise.
