worldtraveller Posted October 20, 2019 #51 Share Posted October 20, 2019 Thanks to people showing photos of the shampoo and conditioner; one question checked off! But I have one other question, what dining room is used for Club Class Anytime dining? Enjoy your cruise!

Rare dides Posted October 20, 2019 Author #53 Share Posted October 20, 2019 Well we made it onboard! Check-in was a bit disorganised but there were lots of staff new to the whole Medallion concept. We were Ocean Ready without Medallions and were directed to 2 different waiting areas until we were ushered up to scan our passes and collect our Medallions. We were onboard by 11am and in our stateroom by 11:30 (after heading straight to the Sanctuary to book our loungers later in the week) Prices are consistent with the other ships. All the cabanas that were next to the Retreat Pool before are up on deck 18 now. Our Premium Suite is lovely! And the Medallion door unlocking worked immediately Here are some pictures. So far we have toured the spa, kids club and eaten at Alfredos. More pics and info to come... 7

bonship Posted October 20, 2019 #55 Share Posted October 20, 2019 Love that you are sharing your experience with us, Sandra and Chris and that you are willing to answer questions. I have a crazy request: One of my photos was chosen for the public areas and cabins of the Sky. The photo is of King Penguins in the Falkland Islands. If you see it anywhere, would you let me know, or better yet, snap a photo? We plan to cruise on the Sky in the next year of so, but would love to see my penguins having a good time without me. Enjoy your cruise and your scavenger hunt!

Enjoy your cruise and your scavenger hunt! From a few bloggers who have posted on the ship the past few days, I've seen your photo in the cabins. I heard that each deck displays a different photo in all the cabins. One my vloggers I follow had your photo in their Marina deck cabin. It's a beautiful photo by the way.

I am VERY anxious to know how the "new" Princess Live compares to the old Explorer's Lounge. I'm hoping it is very similar. Also, an artist's rendering of the wakeview pool makes it look ridiculously shallow. If you have a chance would you please confirm the depth of the pool. Thank you for your kind offer to provide answers to all of our burning questions. But despite all the requests, take time to enjoy your trip! 🙂 Hi, the depth of the Wakeview pool varies from a Lowest level of 2ft 7 inches or 0.8m and Highest level is 3ft 6 inches or 1.07m Sandra and Chris Edited October 20, 2019 by dides

Thank you so much for your offer of answering our burning questions. I’m wondering about the cost of the on-board couples’ Enclave booking for one week as well as for two weeks. I’ve seen the online price and am wondering if there would be a better rate if waiting to book on board directly at the spa. Also, if you happen to be near the Internet cafe on deck 5 on embarkation day..what is the embarkation day price for a one week booking of unlimited internet (one device only)? Often there is an on-board discount for Platinums/Elites. Is the Sky offering this? Thank you so much! Hi, no different prices on board for Enclave. MedallionNet is available at 9.99 a day on embarkation day only which they say is a 50% saving. Our plat/elite offer was 52.99 for 7 days. Cannot believe how much information and pictures you have already dispensed with your very short time on board. Happy to hear about the platinum pricing for Internet. Looks like the same discount that we received on the regal last year. Have an absolutely wonderful adventure and know that all of us are just as excited for you being on board this Sky Med cruise as we would be if it was us.
