Cool stairs. I would have a problem walking up them because of open backs. On Bliss my knees would lock trying to go up🙄

I believe the Sugarcane has an outdoor bar like the Cavern Club on the Waterfront. Is it open a lot? Is it open every night while sailing?

I loved hanging out at the 5 o'clock somewhere bar on the Escape and it would be nice to have a second spot to go to on the Waterfront when I sail Encore in January.

I'm back on board and showered off from the beach at Jost van Dyke... I'll try to knock out a chapter before heading to dinner...

 

I have to wear pants and a collared shirt for dinner at Ocean Blue, so I'm recycling my outfit from the other night... Hopefully, it turns out to be better luck tonight.

We met Claudia and her crew at the dock at 10:30, and boarded the Rebel Yell catamaran...

As soon as everyone was on board, we left Road Town and headed West towards JVD...

On the way, you pass along the South side of the island, and past industrial areas...

 

It's a very scenic ride over, passing between Tortola and St John... There are several other smaller islands along the way.

After a while, you come to the far West end of Tortola and turn North, heading straight towards JVD... You can see White Bay wayyy off in the distance...

 

As we got closer, you could see two other small cruise ships anchored in the bay. This is the first time I've ever seen this, it's usually just catamarans and sailboats.
