lisa6191 Posted December 2, 2019 #151 Share Posted December 2, 2019 If you use the Unlimited Dining Package at the a la carte restaurants, is it $35 credit per visit? Or per day? For instance, what if I have lunch in Playmakers, and then go back later that day just for dessert? How would that work? Love the review so far! I’ve sailed all the Oasis class and I’ll be back on Oasis in May from NJ. Looking forward to all the upgrades! We also have unlimited dining and $18 unlimited drink package so I’ll take away all your tips and tricks! Bon Voyage!!!!! $18.00 unlimited drink package? How in the world did you get that? I've checked everyday and the lowest I've seen it is $51.00 a day.
SNJCruisers Posted December 3, 2019 #167 Share Posted December 3, 2019 Since you are promoting the Unlimited drink and food packages, could you please enlighten us as to what you were able to get price wise? It's unfortunately 199/week and 61/day on our August sailing. Since this week is usually one of the cheapest weeks of the year to sail, I assume that you got better rates. But of course, with Royal it's never safe to assume anything.
Tee & Chilli Posted December 3, 2019 #168 Share Posted December 3, 2019 The $18 drink package was an “error” which was advertised for several hours. After about 1 to 2 days Royal decided to honor the “mistake”. For this sailing the dining package was $199 and as low as $175 during promotions. Several people took advantage and at first they weren’t going to honor it but then so many people complained they decided they would. I was able to book it for two cruises at that price. I did pay $47 a day for my Harmony cruise this past October though.

MrFunInTheSun Posted December 3, 2019 Author #172 Share Posted December 3, 2019 (edited) We all gathered this morning at 830 at Promenade Cafe. Once we all were present we trekked off the ship and made our way to the tram which brought us close to Columbus Cove, yet not close enough as we had to walk past all the vendors that wanted our business. We just kept our head high, Maureen flashed her pillows, we kept smiling and walking forward. At one point two from our party got sucked in but quickly continued to push forward to the promise land. Once we got over the hill the vendors disappeared and our beach bungalow was in sight. Since we got there fairly early only a couple were taking so we had a choice of quite a few. We picked the last one on the end BB8. Next to us were some other friends from our roll call and few more down were a few other folks from our roll call. We pretty we represented the beach bungalow area of Columbus Cove. It’s so beautiful, peaceful and fairly quiet there. Maureen and Andy managed to get some alone time which was good for the two of them. We had lots of fun with of course plenty of inappropriate conversations. Later on Andy and Mimsy had a little fun with pineapple games... Meanwhile back on the ship whilst we were having fun the Christmas tree was being erected... I would love to have it drop to 175 fron the current 199 and get the drink package for only 47. I locked in at 61 after it dropped from 65 during the recent "sale". Will be constantly checking for price drops on both. Hate having to jump through hoops, but as usual we don't make the rules, we just play the game. MrFunInTheSun Posted December 3, 2019 Author #175 Share Posted December 3, 2019 (edited) Our day in Columbus Cove was slowly coming to a halt as the 2pm hour was approaching. All aboard was at 330 so we wanted a head start back to the ship and we had enough sun. These Oasis class ships are nothing but efficient so going thru security and back on the ship is always a breeze.. We made our way to the tram so we didn’t have to ward off the vendors again...Maureen had left earlier than us as her and Andy had a date on the ship...
