bringing water / soda onboard

My better half is now not drinking alcohol  ( 🥴 ) and has found a soft drink she likes that Im sure is not available onboard . She is also fussy about the water  , whilst I will drink anything put in a glass.🥳 

We are Elite and sail in 6weeks , and while I'm about to consume my fair share of Bar offerings , she is hoping to bring a case of softdrink and water onboard - mostly to consume in the cabin.  . Is this still OK ? Many moons ago I seem to remember doing such but am not sure that its permitted now.

Yes, you are definitely allowed to bring water and soft drinks with you when you board.  Enjoy your cruise

Just wondering what the 'ships water' is like to drink? Ie, I am not fussy as long as it taste like.... water. Or will bring some on if it tastes 'ick'.

It tastes fine.  No ill effects in the ice, coffee, lemonade, etc. either

You can bring it on board. I've seen people give the porter a whole case with the luggage tag sticker slapped on it. Only NCL makes a fuss bringing non-alcoholic beverage onboard.

Just put a luggage tag on the case of water and soda and it will not be a problem. Give it to the porter at the pier and it will be delivered to your room along with your luggage. Taste is subjective about anything,  I've never found the bottled water to be problematic. Like anything, other may have differing opinions.
