Hi All,

 

We are on our first cruise on Serenade Of The Seas (Alaska Cruise) in August.  When do you know what shows are on ?? and what time are the shows normally  on at.

You will know for sure when you get on board and see the shows listed in the Cruise Compass.

 

You may be able to get some advance info if someone does a review in May when the ship first arrives in Alaska.

Current production shows on Serenade (which by the looks of it haven't changed since I sailed on her) are:

Stage to Screen - " Calling all film aficionados, Broadway buffs, and every fan in between: get ready to travel from the world-revered theaters of Broadway to the star-studded studios of Hollywood as we bring you the greatest musicals to ever go from the Stage to Screen."

 

Vibeology - " Greatest hits get a remix when the vibes of your favorite originals are remixed in an all new way, with everything from reimagined Elvis to a cappella Beatles. Vibeology captures the music that defined an era and pays homage to its legends with hits from Sting, Santana, Cher, and more."

 

You'll also have various headliners that you can e-mail Royal and ask about a few weeks prior to your cruise.

Yup, last month still same as last 5yrs, at least. Done 200+ nites on Serenade. First nite and last is combined Welcome then Farewell shows in between Main Dining times. Usually at least one nite no show or a Movie playing in Theater. Then One nite Qwest. Other's a mystery as said this far out

Usually one night there will be adult stand up comedy show.

Does anyone know what movies are currently play on board.  I will be boarding serenade later this month and always love watching movies at the pool deck under the stars.

Varies. Shows are usually timed to be convenient for the two fixed (traditonal) dining times.  On the first (and sometimes last) night there is usually one show between the two dining times.  Sometimes there's a show before dinner for the late dining time and a show after dinner for the early dining time.  Sometimes there are two shows after both dinner times.
