Beverage Package?

We are from Australia and interested in an Alaska cruise (Southbound from Anchorage) with Holland America. Does this line have Alcohol Packages for sale on their cruises? I couldn't find anything on the website. Thanks.

Yes, there are two beverage packages for alcohol - the Signature Beverage Package (for beverages up to $11) and the Elite Beverage Package (for beverages up to $15).  To find them, log into your HAL account, and go to My Booking.  You'll find the packages under Beverages.  Please note that the price quoted on the website will include the 15% gratuity while the price onboard will be the daily price plus the gratuity.

 

There are also wine packages but you are best to wait until boarding on ensure your preferred wines are available.

They do, but DNK if available for Australians for pre-buying. Look for Gifts&Indulgences, then Beverages as a large square link. If you don't have the ability to buy pre-sailing, then certainly the first day on board! 

 

For us in US, the Signature Beverage Package is US$44.95 pppd precruise and $49.95pppd on board. Elite BP is US$49.95 pre {a new lower price) and I believe 59.95 on board. The higher price per drink of $15 allows a bigger choice of wine, and higher end scotch, tequila, etc.

And remember that whatever drink package (if you buy one) requires that each adult in the cabin buy the same package.

They do...discussed here frequently. But they aren't 2 for 1, and haven't been for a very long time. They are now "buy one, second is $2".

The drink specials are just a lower price. There is also a Happy Hour at least once a day, though. There you pay the regular price for one drink, and get a second of the same drink for $2.00. Not a bad deal. 
If you don't want two full drinks, you can get a double for the one drink.
