We are booked as a guarantee and sailing in 3 weeks. We have received our Blue Book, but not our room assignment yet. Should we be worried about not having a room assigned before getting to the port and turning in our luggage without a room listed? This is our first time ever in many cruises that we have booked a guarantee, just not sure if this will be a problem or not.

not a problem, there are blank luggage tags at the pier and all of the porters will have a manifest through which they can check your Cabin number IF you don't learn it before sailing day.

On our last cruise we also got blank tags.everyday I checked our Oceania page and a few days later I saw our cabin listed.  We were supposed to be a P3 and had been moved to a P2.

The porters will have tags and a list if you do not know your room number. We did a GTY on our first Oceania cruise and got the cabin assignment 6 days before the cruise. We just got the blank ones from the porters, wrote in what we knew was our cabin number, and off we went to the ship leaving our big bags with them. it will be fine. Julia
