I had a chance to complete a survey requesting opinions on 4 potential world cruise routings for 2022.

Also answered the survey yesterday...

We had to cancel our 2020 WC due to family emergency but were able to "roll" opur reservation over to the 2021 WC on ms Amsterdam and the itinerary looks to be great. This will be our first WC and while we are also booked on the 2022 "WC" (more accurately a Pacific Rim Grand Voyage) on Regent Mariner, we'd be sorely tempted to do one of the 2022 WC itineraries on HAL instead (?)

Thanks for posting the itineraries on your blog. I like option 3 best. The African ports on option 1 are tempting, but why spend a month in Europe on a world cruise? Give me the exotic, not that I am going.

I would have to say that Option 3 looks the most appealing to me, then Option 1.  But we have a long wait till retirement in order to do a world cruise.

I received the email from HAL last week & the Europe one I liked the least. But we would love to do one some day.

We thought the option that included N Europe was timed nicely for tulip season in Amsterdam... that and the option to do another safari as on the ‘18 WC had us sign up hoping....We had to cancel ‘20 due to family health issues and the ‘21 itinerary didn’t appeal to us.

Options 2 & 4 cannot operate as Amsterdam does not comply with tha Polar Code that comes into full force on 1st Jan. 2022.
