Unusable Casino Offer from Carnival

I received this email this morning from Carnival with what looks to be a nice offer.

I immediately scroll down to see what’s available.  And nothing.

The calendar won’t go past February. Casino line is of no help.  They don’t have any idea why I can’t see any cruises as my VIFP number says it is available to me. There are supposed to be several cruises to choose from.

Did anyone else get this offer?

Check your Carnival.com profile and available offers. If you received this email today - the Casino dept should be able to find you something if your serious about going away on such short notice. Call back and explain you just received the email and you can't find anything available.

Happens to me all the time...I see an offer...I click the website and either the offer is gone or the prices have gone up a lot. This current cruise im doing with a casino rate and it will be the last one. You cant get a rate drop if you do a casino rate and if you want to move your room you have to jump through so many hoops.

I received this offer a few weeks ago, but didn't book it until last week. We used it this week on a 4-day Liberty cruise. Got a balcony cabin in a great location for $373 total including taxes and port charges plus $100 OBC. Great deal. Don't know why you received it so late. The calendar probably doesn't go beyond February as the March cruises for this deal are probably already booked and nothing left for you to book. So sorry you can't take advantage of it.

I actually think there is something wrong with Carnival website right now, all of my casino offers are gone?

Anyway, when I received my bounce back offer a couple of weeks ago I couldn't find any availability. So I called Carnival and they transferred me to the casino department and they were able to tell me about 10 sailings it was available on, so I was able to book it. I would try and call back tomorrow and speak with someone else. Good Luck!

I did call the Casino dept.  The lady, on her own, even went to her supervisor.  No one knows anything.

Thanks for your response.

It's unfortunate that I can't take advantage of this even though it is allegedly in my offers.

All my casino offers somehow disappeared also, from one day to the next.  However, when I searched for a certain cruise on the main page, Premier and Dealer's choice came up, even though they were not listed on my VIFP page.  So if you have a certain sailing in mind, go through a "fake" booking and see what offers come up.

Or,,,,,,,,,,

it’s a spam email NOT from Carnival but made to look like it’s from Carnival and once you clicked on the link your computer downloaded malware and viruses

Well, that would stink!

I don’t have a certain sailing in mind. I’m open to pretty much any eastern itinerary from any port, especially if the price is a good one.   It’s like buying anything. I don’t know what I want until I see what is available.  Now, like others, all my offers are gone, even though I just logged in and see this:

An exclusive offer is usually for a target group with only a handful of sailings.

Very frustrating. 😡

I have gotten multiple price drops on a casino rate. I was informed that you are able to price match until final payment.

I got the offer and on the calendar clicked on March , yesterday . Many Cruise's to choose from , we booked the March 7 , 7night Western on Conques for $60 pp +$100 obc + free drinks in casino . This was yesterday .

Wow!  Good for you!  Not sure why it didn’t show for me.

My PVP called me today. In the 11 years I have sailed carnival she’s called me exactly once.

She saw me rooting around on the website and asked what I was looking for.  I told her my troubles and even though she could see offers on her screen, I saw no offers on mine.  The code 01H is long gone now. She said she will keep a eye out for anything she thinks would work for me.
Apparently PVPs call people on the last minute cruises when they are at a close port that the client can drive to because last minute airfare is expensive.

Glad to hear you were able to get in on the  deal.  👍

The OH1 says it ends tonight at midnight the 29th ? I have never had a PVP to notify me of a special offer , I have learned to check my VIFP offers frequently . I have a feeling a lot of people are cancelling and and they are short on bookings . Keep checking VIPF offers frequently , there may be more deals.

The lady point blank told me "the casino does not do any price drops". I love Carnival but by far, my biggest gripe is the consistency of the people you talk to on the phone. Everytime I call its like a crap shoot. It took me 3 times calling to be able to change my room on my upcoming cruise. Like if the answer to my question is No, that's fine but when I find out its yes for other people, that's not right.

Well my casino rates are now back in my offers and I too have the OH1 although it is a different rate. I am showing a lot of available cruises for March, so you might want to check again. Expiration date is 2/29 but it is still showing? good luck!

That’s strange it is showing for you today when it expired yesterday.

I just checked and have no offers.

I even deleted the carnival page and revisited it. Nothing.

They used to do price drops. They don't anymore unless you are one of their $$$$ players

Try clearing your browser history/cookies (if that won't mess up other issues for you).

I received an e-mail with this offer (O1H) this morning.  I've got a 4 day on hold on the Elation for the end of March.  Waiting to get confirmation everyone can go.  I've got 2 OV rooms on the Empress deck for 6 people total for under 1300 all in + 200 OBC & drinks on us.

That's a heck of a deal. How did you manage to swing that? Congrats!
