How to get to my FCC?

That is CAS bookings ... the poster states 'land based certificates' referring to casino certificates and it is those that are limited.  The FCC is separate and should show in NCL account and limitations will be more based on what items it can be applied to in the booking.

That is what I thought. Just wanted to make sure. Thanks. :)

I was told yesterday that the FCCs will not be available until 10-12 business days AFTER your scheduled sail date. In your case, the earliest the FCC will be available will be April 3rd. I'm in the same position as I had a cruise scheduled for 3/21 and have to wait also.

Good to know!  I've been wondering when we would start seeing them.

I was on a cancelled NCL cruise departing next Saturday. I am taking the 125% FCC but how do I actually find it? Will it show up in my NCL profile somewhere?  We have chosen our new dates and want to hold them but I don't want to put down a $2,000 deposit that will be covered by the FCC.

Thank you!

Make sure you use a credit card and you will be fine. personally I would try Princess. They are also very consistent and the food and service is much better. That's my opinion after sailing for 4 decades and tried them all. Princess generally gives you the most bang for you buck. Especially when it comes to beverage packages. Only 1 person in a room for 2 has to buy the package. BIG SAVINGS!

But did you cancel yours under Peace of Mind or did NCL cancel it?  This is two different situations and I would expect to be treated as such, much like I had no choice over refund.  If you got the above answer for Peace of Mind then this is just another version being told by the agents and at this point I don't believe anything they say.  They are either misinformed or misinterpreting.

I will believe reality when the first people report getting them.

Poffles: NCL cancelled my cruise, I did not. Had still planned on going when I got the email.

That was my guess.  So the FCC might be be applied over time differently than those that canceled themselves.  We shall see as I still don't see mine a week later.

Just want to clarify...those stipulations are for CAS bookings, correct? If not, then if NCL is limiting the FCCs that much, then it sounds like the refund is a much better choice. We weren't booked through CAS.

Yes, when I call the number provided by my local casino on the certificate, I end up speaking with a CAS representative.  But the latest I was told doesn't make much sense if what one poster says is true - that the FCC won't show up until 10 to 14 business days after the date of the cancelled cruise. Mine was supposed to sail March 22, 10 business days will take me past March 31st, so that means I won't have FCC to use to re-book by that date, except that the second rep I spoke with said I couldn't re-book until I actually had the FCC in my account.  Looks like I need to call back again.

Update ... for FYI.

History .... I called CAS March 9th day before PoM and cancelled/removed extras (dining and beverage perk, pre paid service charges) and told this was  done.  I called March 10th and cancelled my cruise (to sail March 15th) under PoM.

Update ... Myself and my travel partner each got an email from NCL that the FCC is now in your account and it appears to be the amount it should be minus the items we had removed day before cancelling trip.  I logged into my NCL account and I do not see it appear anywhere so timing perhaps or maybe it never will show up there.

I still await the items I remove on the 9th to be refunded to my credit card.

Things are looking up.

I received the same minus the insurance. I don't see it in my account either. BUT they told me I had to call them when I received the email, so I'm guessing that's why we don't see it on our accounts. My account has the new booking and shows gratuities and all that good stuff, but no way to pay the balance. So that would explain why I'm supposed to call them I'm thinking. Did you put a deposit on another booking?

I can confirm the same.  I cancelled under the "Peace of Mind" policy before the cruise cancellations (so 100% credit less the insurance I purchased).  I received confirmation emails this afternoon for each of me, my partner, and our 2 kids (well, still waiting for the 4th email, but I assume it will arrive...they seem to be really staggered out).  I checked the amounts in the emails and they match exactly what I was charged (less the insurance cost per person).

My rep at NCL said I should see a credit somewhere in my account, but I'm not sure about that.  I am wondering if the FCC will actual appear anywhere in my online NCL account.

The one thing that does make me wonder.  I emailed with my NCL rep when I first thought of cancelling, and he said I'd receive the full credit (less insurance) to my account that I could use as I see fit (e.g. if just me and my partner wanted to go on an Alaskan cruise, we could use the full credit, sans kids).   But the email confirmations I have from NCL quote precise credits per 'guest', for all 4 of us.  I just hope I do have the flexibility my NCL rep said I had with my credit.

No I didn't put a deposit on another booking.  I already have a cruise booked for next April (with Celebrity) and October (MSC) and I am not comfortable booking anything else sooner and many areas I like to cruise are not out yet for any date further out.  I was also not eager to fork out any more of my money on a deposit until I had my FCC and my canceled items refunded to my credit card ... call me crazy 🤪

I just got off the phone with the casino, they can see my credit, but she can't apply it yet. SHe put me on hold to get help applying it, but Support told her to give it 24 hours.

Is it wrong that I am literally LOL right now.  🤣

I would be surprised if you are able to use their FCC ... UNLESS they are under they are under a certain age and maybe they would then consider the FCC under your ownership.  Another one of those scenarios where time will tell and the expected might be unexpected.

So ... another update for those interested.

Email from NCL last Thursday (March 19) that my FCC was in my account.

Today (March 24) the FCC is officially showing in my online account and it right where someone along the way said it should appear.  It is under My Account and it is literally right there under the part that will show any reservations you have or in my case with nothing booked it shows this ... the FCC is under the My Coupons and Credits which did not exist at all until I had something to show.

But is it there if you don't have a cruise booked?

I circled back on this and I can now confirm that it shows up even if you don't have a cruise booked as you can see from my post above on the FCC finally showing up in my account (days after the email but it's there) so I would expect I can now not only see it but could actually book a cruise online and apply it all myself but that is yet to be tested and I won't be booking for a bit.

I am confused about this future cruise credit. Say I have a total of $2000 future cruise credit and my new cruise that I book costs $1500. Will the extra $500 be good for a second cruise that I book or is it possible to use that $500 to book excursions for the first cruise?

The extra (500 in your example) would remain in your Coupons and Credits and be usable on another future cruise within the same expiry period.  There is no indication from anyone anywhere that it can be used for stuff that is booked separately like excursions or as OBC on the cruise.  For cruise booking items only such as fees, taxes, service charges.

Thank you. I haven't cruised that much so I was getting confused!

You are not alone!  This is trying times for everyone and I don't envy those working in the industry as they get the wrath of all this so any info I can share from what I experience or learn from others, I will.  I am cautious in filtering through some of it though as there is a lot out there that is more a guess than reality.

Keep safe everyone!

Thanks for showing the example poffles!

I'm still waiting for the FCC email from NCL for the cruise they cancelled.  I've been looking at re-booking while all the promos & OBC are available, but looks like I'll have to wait awhile more.

We booked a courtesy hold (without the deposit) before we got our FCC because we wanted to take advantage of the promos and OBC. We were able to apply our FCC once it showed up.

Did you call NCL to apply FCC or were you able to do yourself online?

Yesterday, the Cruise Next Deposit  showed in that area with an expiration date of Apr 2021. I wondered if it would be extended and checked again today. Today, it is gone, but I now see the FCC, which wasn't there yesterday.

I will call next week if the Cruise Next Deposit doesn't reappear.
