Rare perfect match Posted March 27, 2020 #84 Share Posted March 27, 2020 (edited) @scubacruiserx2 hope your upcoming TA goes as planned. We were supposed to be heading south for a week in Key West at about the same time as your sailing. I’m sad to say that trip is not happening this year. We’re going to try again next year. Hopefully, we will be able to make it happen, as we have been wanting to get there for quite a while. 🤞🏻 Koningsdam docked at Amber Cove. A new friend I made in Curaçao. She was just a bit shy. daisybertie Posted March 27, 2020 #85 Share Posted March 27, 2020 Nighttime in Papeete was taken in 2018, not 2019. My mistake. Here’s hoping for many more happy cruises for everyone.

If (and it is a big 'if') you do arrive to Cork please note that you are listed for docking in Ringaskiddy and not Cobh. Ringaskiddy is a deep water berth in a commercial port used by freighters, ferries and container ships and has absolutely horrible connections to anywhere. Really suggest ship excursion or pre arranged private excursion with confirmation that the tour will be from Ringaskiddy.

Would that port be closer to the Ring of Kerry which is where we were planning to go ?

Rare scubacruiserx2 Posted March 28, 2020 Author #95 Share Posted March 28, 2020 This was only our 3rd cruise on HAL and our first trip to Alaska and it was a spur of the moment decision . We had said goodbye to the Eurodam as it left our closest cruise port in Ft. Lauderdale headed to Alaska . Dinner at the Eurodam Tamarind Thai chicken and rice soup Indonesian style Laksa with quail eggs Satay sampler Peking duck with Chinese crepes Lobster roll Wasabi and soy crusted beef tenderloin My Penang Red Curry Boy did I love that stuff , but it's big bowl ! Trio of sorbets And the Tamarind Chocolate
