Thank you for the information. I read that Sovereign, her slightly older sister, was also expected to head for the breakers. Do you know if that has happened as of yet? Of the 3 sisters, Majesty of the Seas still is part of the Royal Caribbean fleet. I wonder for how long.

shipgeeks Posted November 18, 2021 #9 Share Posted November 18, 2021 For anybody who would like to relive sailing on Monarch in her prime, check out the Bollywood movie "Dil Dhadakne Do". Most of the movie is set on the ship, plus a number of harbor views; she looks beautiful. The story is good, too. If you don't speak Hindi, it's probably a good idea to acquire a copy with English subtitles!
WeMissSeaView Posted November 19, 2021 #10 Share Posted November 19, 2021 Unfortunately, both Monarch and Sovereign are now 100% gone. Just waiting to find out what will happen to Majesty that is currently in deep cold storage in Greece.

norboy76 Posted November 20, 2021 #12 Share Posted November 20, 2021 I have items from all 3 of those ships, the Majesty, Monarch and Sovereign. The one Majesty item is a nice vintage carved wooden box with hinged lid. I also have a nice crystal block for the Monarch. Also have a nice pewter model on a stone base that looks like marble, and a Majesty metal and stone model. And a cute Majesty Bear.
