Is this 2022 world cruise itinerary the same as the cancelled 2021?

This itinerary does not look familiar to me, but a world cruise in 2021 was out of the question for us and I have a lousy memory. The route only dips into the southern hemisphere to visit the Amazon. The stops at the WWII islands of Chuuk, Guam, Saipan, and Okinawa appeal to me and we have not yet transited the Panama or Suez canals.  We have no desire to return to China, the pollution was terrible in the 80's and has only gotten worse. Your thoughts?

I like parts of the itinerary, but not all of it. I do wish the segment ports had been listed, as I could get interested in taking one.
However, since this is going to combine passengers who wanted either the '21 or '22 cruise, then there might not even be room for segment passengers.

I'm surprised at the number of cruise lines - Princess, Cunard, Costa, Regent, etc. - who are still showing a 2021 World Cruise.  How would that even be possible?

Wishful thinking?

Princess and Regent, no way.  European lines may be in a bit better place as they seem to have Covid better controlled than we do so there may be a chance.  Costa looks like the more likely because they do not visit the US until perhaps mid-April.  Cunard is more problematic.  They do not visit the US but would have problems with Australia in February.  I don't think they would be able to accommodate Americans on either cruise.

To answer the question, yes it is the same as the 2021 itinerary.   It may change as time goes on.

Thanks, shebag.

Wouldn't it be something if they filled the whole ship with full world cruisers?

I wouldn't be surprised if they did, or at least came close to it. Some people take the full cruise every other year, so there are two separate groups going for the same cruise this time.
What I find amusing, though, is that some of those biannual cruisers will be going for their same regular cabins. Could it get contentious?
