Where was I?

It's not Port Headland is it? It has been 20 years since our trip to that region and I'm struggling to remember our itinerary😂

It sure is 🙂  Not many cruise ships visit Port Hedland of course. We were there on Radiance OTS in 2014. I took the only excursion offered which was a 1 hour bus trip around the town and iron ore processing facilities.

No stops, no toilet or photo break, so any photos were taken thru the bus windows. Very interesting.

Very busy port, with lots of huge cargo ships coming and going

Here is a video of how that shipping control tower was demolished last year.

They tie a rope on each side so the ship doesn't hit the sides of the bay. The bay is very narrow and the water very rough. Sometimes it is so rough they can't get people on to the island. We got lucky though 😊

Not on any continent

Just to get to the tender we had to jump from the ship to the little boat as it hit the side of the ship. Crew of course helped timing us right and catching us. For some people it was too difficult as I did hear at least one person behind me in line saying "Forget this I'm staying on the ship" 😂

No I don't think you have if it is what I think you are thinking 😳😄
