I hope it's not straying too far if I post a webcam shot rather than a photo I took myself. You know this webcam guy is going to have a few of those. Here's my contribution for today, a webcam capture from a port I've only seen through webcams. Not a lot to go on I know, but give it a try. Maybe someone will recognize it.

I think this is Klaksvik, Faroe Islands.

I'm not exactly sure how I stumbled across this article, but it was the key to identifying this port.

Looks like that was a port substitution for Torshavn, Faroe Islands which is what's shown in the itineraries I have for QV on the date quoted in the article (26 June 2013).

Could it be Funchal?

Correct Lanky Lad!

It was a very enjoyable overnight stay in port - we’d just come back from dining on beef estepada and Madeiran garlic bread in our favourite restaurant. The evening was warm and it was the perfect end to a perfect day being able to return to my favourite ship (QE) for a night cap and restful sleep in those wonderful beds. 😊

St Petersbugh?

Spot on! Not my favourite port of call on that Baltic cruise - I really wish Cunard would do an itinerary which doesn’t stop there but overnights in Stockholm instead.

I agree, some lovely ports in the Baltic, but all cruises call at Russia.
