Fly cruise fromBrisbane on its way ???

Good business for the airlines, perhaps charter flights .

Yes.  I wondered why more cruises didn't depart from Brisbane with less sea days to South Pacific and people taking shorter cruises.

We used to fly south to Sydney to fly overseas.  Now we can fly direct from Brisbane.  Brisbane Airport has been expanded to handle extra flights from overseas.  You can even stay at an airport hotel at the airport.  Brisbane is joining the Big League!

If Brisbane plays their cards right they will become the cruising holiday hub of the South Pacific .

They need to concentrate on the logistics of getting supplies to the ships efficiently, and the rapid transport of passengers for a seamless trip from ship to plane....

..just like Fort Lauderdale ,

They certainly have plenty of time to get the transfer process right, David.  Would be wonderful if they could have an above ground train like in Orlando, where the holiday starts from arrival on the plane.

No public transport for the Brisbane Cruise Terminal and none planned. It will all be shuttle buses and taxis.

There will be long term parking available but I don't know what cost.

Shuttles will be fine ...budget the cost into the cruise fare and push it as a free shuttle ,like from Hotels near LAX , and have a fleet running non stop all day .

and then if they really smart how about flight check in at the cruise terminal.
