Has anyone been able to successfully get a refund?

Curious if anyone has tried to get a refund for a non-refundable deposit that YOU cancelled prior to final payment, and then the cruise line ultimately cancelled anyway?

Got full refunds (less deposit$$) on three cruises that we cancelled under CWC prior to final payment date. We got FCC’s for the deposit amounts on those cruises.

Not going to happen.

Won’t happen.  They are firm on that.

They seem to be sticking with the notion that once you cancel you no longer have a contract with them.  Once the contract has been terminated you are no longer a future passenger on the ship so any action after that point is moot. 

 

It's a lesson learned for many.
