Long Bay Beach-all the way across the island but worth the time and expense. #3 Darkwood Beach- just before Turner's always a nice day great little bar cold beers all day long. Beach is beautiful. Cab fare I'm sorry I can't help you with that. Maybe someone else can help you. If it were me I would do Turner's, new bar and restaurant, chair rentals clean bathrooms, water and beach awesome. Have fun.

tjaker11 Posted February 1, 2022 #8 Share Posted February 1, 2022 (edited) Yes, you can rent chairs and umbrellas. They have a bar where you can order lite snacks etc. Clean rest rooms. We haven't been in a few years but I'm sure it's the same. We really enjoyed our time there. I don't recall the price of chairs/umbrellas but I'm sure they were reasonable. jbiker Posted February 19, 2022 #10 Share Posted February 19, 2022 We did Fryer's beach in January and it was great! Got a cab from the port--was about a 25 minute ride--someone was waiting there with chair and umbrella rentals and a small bar with drinks--maybe about 20 people total on the beach--perfect. Nice water-there was a restaurant there also called Dennis's but we didnt go in.

diane.in.ny Posted April 19, 2022 #12 Share Posted April 19, 2022 Was at Beach Limerz in February. Lovely beach. Bar with drinks and food. Taxi, arranged by the bar, was $7 pp each way.
volk904 Posted May 1, 2022 #13 Share Posted May 1, 2022 (edited) On a cruise last week. We asked the cab to go Valley Chuch but it seemed that the cab dispatcher loaded everybody going to the beach in the same cab and took us to Darkwood. The water looked great and had no seaweed u like St Kitts and St Thomas so we stayed. $20 for 2 chairs and and umbrella. Beers were $4 and $5. Food was ok. I would go again. Cruiseoholic000 Posted August 3, 2022 #17 Share Posted August 3, 2022 Does anyone know the cab fair for at Valley Church or Turner's Beach? Any problems getting a cab back? How much are two loungers and an umbrella? Beach Limerz looks nice but 70, plus cab fair is a little more than I was planning on.

If one has a budget and a binary choice, then go to Turners. Many minibus shuttles available there and back @ $8 per person e/w. 2 Beds and umbrella @ $20 per set.- Some beds have a static shade Facilities, bar/food available - Stalls selling sun clothing, jewellery, shells etc
