I never understood that. As the old farts say, <insert crotchety old man voice here> "In my day nobody got a damn trophy for just showing up!" Of course these days I am one of the old farts. How did that happen? Many years ago one of my sons started referring to me as "Pappy". D'Oh! (Actually I don't mind it at all. Pappy Van Winkle is considered to be freaking awesome. Someday I'd like to actually get to try it to find out for myself. Sigh...)
