Yes that is what our reservation shows on the AA site.

AA has a call-back system, so no need to wait on hold.

I know from your previous post that you have a domestic US flight.

 

Our flight is an International Flight and it says “on request”.  I was able to select seats.  
 

Are you still unable to select seats?

I booked flights last week using the dont pay until final cruise payment is due option.  I got a file/locator number.  Flight is Delta operated by West Jet.  I tried to select seats but the number I got is not recognized by West Jet.  When I find it on Delta it has another file number but when I try to select seats it says I need to contact West Jet.   I tried to call WestJet but gave up.  Several hours later auto reply via text suggesting I need to call celebrity flights department ....

Yep, still can not select seats online.  So I used a TA, who do I call for seats?  TA, Celebrity, AA?  It's all good since flight is out there aways.

Based on my experience you will not be able to select West Jet seats on Delta since the flight is not operated by Delta.  I suspect you will need to call WestJet to get seats with the WestJet number that Delta showed you.  You might be able to select seats on WestJet’s website, but I have no experience.

I have no idea of why I was able to select seats and you are not.  My flight immediately shows up under my trips when I log into my account and I am able to view my seats.  I would guess that AA would be the only one that could help and if I recall correctly you have already called them. Maybe try calling them again?

I was unable to select seats on AA.com but Celebrity Air was able to.
