I can't even find that on the Carnival site, so I assume it is some other cruise line. A typical (Carnival) itinerary appears to be: Start: Seattle > Cruise Tracy Arm Fjord > Skagway > Juneau > Ketchikan > Victoria > End: Seattle Congrats, you found the exception! How many times will they do that in a year?
NightOne Posted May 12, 2021 #28 Share Posted May 12, 2021 Russian owned Aleutian Island could be a new service port of call. 🙂
cruisingguy007 Posted May 12, 2021 #29 Share Posted May 12, 2021 If there is one thing that may come of this terrible virus it's that the cruise lines may expand their horizons and seek out more port options in order to be able to make changes on the fly and increase their negotiating power. They have the captive audience, that's a powerful position and having itinerary options only makes their position stronger. It could also lead to some savings through refueling/provision incentives/special arrangements and such.

Several cruise lines have done this itinerary at end of Alaska season for years to reposition ships to Asia for winter sailings ....Carnival has never offered it

Carnival would never be able to fill the ship if this were offered consecutively to sail to Alaska in lieu of a service call with Canada.

Too bad it is so hard for us to get away in October.
