Final payment

How far out does RCCL require final payment, is it 60 or 90 days?

About 2.5 months.  I just looked at 3 or 4 of mine, sometimes up to 90 days.  Depends on the time of year.

It is 90 days except for 3 and 4 day cruises. They are 75 days.

I believe the room type may also come into play here.  We usually stay in a suite and our friends who do not often have a final payment date later than us.  The TA, if you use one, may also want the payment a little before Royal does.

Some reports say that RCI modified some final payment dates recently - closer in

yup, you are right, all my short cruises are 75 and 7 night ones are 90

It has nothing to do with time of year.  It is based on the length of the cruise. 
 

1-4 day cruises are 75 days

5 day and above is 90 days. 

applies to bookings under North American terms and conditions.  Other countries have different Payment dates.

The only modifications were for Canada sailings
